DESIGN LINEAGE
Smeg’s Linear kitchen is the culmination of many years of technological development, dressed in exquisitely minimal lines and mirror finish. The Linear design was conceived by Smeg in association with Studio Gabriele Centazzo and his most senior designer, Mirco Zanini who are famed for their work with prestigious Italian kitchen designers, Valcucina, and were instrumental in designing the first ever fully recyclable kitchen base unit. Their work with Smeg is living testimony to the fact that sustainable materials can be contemporary and beautiful.
LIGHT AND LINE
The Linear aesthetic is characterised by a design intended to maximise all available space. Light, uniform lines, balance and ergonomics characterise the Linear range.
Smeg’s flagship product, the SFPA140 does not have any control knobs, rather it features the technologically advanced TFT touch-control display with easy-to-use S-Logic navigation and 50 Smart Sense menus. The sophistication of the innovations in this oven means that using and operating the oven is actually very simple.
VERTICAL FLAME
Linear cooktops also feature unique and eye-catching sculptural design. The signature trivets with light, floating style, allow easy movement of pans across the cooktop. Smeg Linear cooktops also feature the advanced vertical burner technology. Smeg engineers have developed these advances over many years and have produced a flame with 20% higher energy efficiency than traditional gas burners.
