It’s hard to believe that it’s two months since the Queensland floods devastated so much of the state. As the recovery effort continues, more details about the cost of the crisis are coming to light and the list of things that need to be repaired or rebuilt is growing longer. In this issue, we look at the important role the construction industry — including the kitchen and bathroom sector — will play in helping Queenslanders rebuild their lives. While the last few months have been difficult for many, it’s comforting to know that things are looking up.
