Erasta Shopping Centre

Atlantis Aurora installed a green wall to the outdoor façade of the Erasta Shopping Centre in Fethiye, Turkey. Atlantis Aurora specialises in vertical gardens, living walls or green walls that are interventions with plants on unproductive walls and walls that are made to beautify and reduce environmental and noise pollution.

A green wall, vertical garden or living walls help retain a layer of air between the plant mass, increase thermal insulation, buffer heat and cold, and reduce ambient temperature.

Although its main function is to purify and renew the air, vertical gardens also reduce visual pollution, allowing the renovation of facades or degraded spaces to be beautified and can aid to rebuild an urban profile and enrich public spaces. That was exactly what the management team of the Erasta Shopping Centre in Turkey was looking for with the main facade of the building.

The implementation techniques used by the Atlantis Aurora green wall team mimic natural conditions and adapt to any geometry. Its systems are highly water efficient and designed for low maintenance and installation longevity. Furthermore, its systems are cost effective and simple to maintain.

Atlantis Aurora utilises selected materials and products for the vertical garden structure that provide system longevity that does not require replacement or break down during the projects lifetime. The irrigation systems utilised are industry standard and can be easily accessed and maintained.
