3 stunning wallpaper applications for any kitchen, bathroom or laundry

Kitchens, bathrooms and laundries can be given all kinds of character with the inclusion of a well-designed wallpaper. In this feature, the Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute of Australia (KBDi) shares three of its favourite wallpaper applications.

Jack Avison: Nosiva Custom Cabinetry

GALLERY

Melbourne’s Jack Avison of Nosiva Custom Cabinetry took this powder room to a whole new level of luxury with a striking floral waterproof wallpaper. The hues in the design inspired the paint colour, cabinetry and floor tile selections and a thoughtful lighting layout allows the central white flower in the mural design to glow.

Jo Byrom: Jo Byrom Interiors

Brisbane designer Jo Byrom of Jo Byrom Interiors used this fabulous print to great effect in a stunning kitchen project. We love the interest it adds to the space and Jo’s beautiful work in tying together the overall colour scheme.

Donna Allen: The Space Within

Who wouldn’t love washing day in this whimsical space? Sydney’s Donna Allen of The Space Within used a delightful design in this light and airy laundry. The client’s brief was for the space to be fun, with playful patterning and a balanced design — and Donna delivered!
